Nepali Christian Church

Nepali Christian Church Aldershot was established in 2007. This church is a local congregation of the worldwide Church — a part of the united body of Christ, whose head is Christ himself (Colossians 1:18a) — and it is both a spiritual and an organisational structure. Nepali Christian Church Aldershot is an independent, non-denominational local church, grounded in the teaching of the Living Word (the Bible) and believing in the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

What We Believe

Statement of Faith

We believe:

1

In one true, holy, and almighty God, who is the Triune God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

2

In His love, grace, and sovereignty, by which He created, sustains, reigns over, redeems, and will judge the world.

3

In the Holy Bible, Scripture inspired by God, useful for teaching, exhortation, correction, and for living an upright life.

4

In the Lord Jesus Christ, who took on human form and came into the world. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, was born of the virgin Mary, and was yet without sin.

5

In the redeeming sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ — to free humankind from sin, He himself became sin and died on the cross in our place, and having triumphed over death and sin, reconciled us to God the Father.

6

In the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, the firstfruits of those who have died. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, and is the mediator between God the Father and humankind.

7

That it is by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and by the grace of God the Father alone that sinful humankind can receive salvation.

8

In the ministry of the Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ through new birth, and leads us into discipleship, helping us become powerful witnesses.

9

In the holy universal Church and the communion of the saints.

10

In the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. He will come again to judge the living and the dead, and will create a new heaven and a new earth.
